Day One

Indian Wedding Ceremony

Our wedding weekend begins with the traditional Indian Wedding Ceremony. Following the ceremony, please join us for lunch as we continue the celebration together with family, friends and the start of an unforgettable wedding weekend.

What to wear

Cocktail Attire

Cocktail attire is requested for both men & women. Traditional Indian attire is encouraged but not required. For guests who wish to wear traditional Indian attire, men may wear a Kurta Pajama or a Sherwani, while women may wear a Saree or Lehenga.

Out of respect for the cultural traditions of the ceremony, we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing gowns or outfits that are predominantly red, black or white. Thank you for helping us honor these meaningful customs.

Day Two

Assyrian Palata

Our wedding day begins with the traditional Assyrian Palata, a joyful, and meaningful pre-wedding tradition where the groom's family & friends visit the bride's home to officially pick her up and escort her to the ceremony. It symbolizes the bride leaving her parents' home to start a new life with her husband. Guests are invited to join us as we celebrate with the symbolic bargaining for the bride with cash, music, dancing and light food & drinks before departing all together to the ceremony.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

4:00 PM

The Milestone Georgetown 5299 TX-29, Georgetown, TX 78628

Following the Palata we will make our way to The Milestone Georgetown for our traditional Assyrian Wedding Ceremony. Immediately after please join us for cocktail hour, followed by dinner, dancing and an unforgettable evening celebrating our marriage with all of our loved ones.

Black tie optional — gentlemen are invited to wear a tuxedo or suit, while ladies are encouraged to wear a formal to semi-formal gown or elegant midi dress.
